Paul, Id still be interested in the Mirror control box... the small black one I think, with the same plug connection as found on the speedo cluster....

I know theres no harness, but thats not a problem as I kept the one off the car thats just gone..

Have you tried the Crank Pick up sensor????

Yes Paul, it was the first thing I replaced.
I've also had it looked at a garage, they hooked it up to the diagnostic machine and said it wouldn't talk to them.
All I can do now is replace as many sensors and relays as I can find.......and the ECU of course.
I don't hold out much hope now though, there's another member of this forum who's had the same problem for a year or two and still hasn't solved it.
I'm trying to find somewhere off the road where I can park it as the tax runs out soon, and I can't get it MOT'd in it's present state.
Another month or so and the problem will be taken out of my hands......courtesy of the DVLA.............

Passenger mirror control box?

These are the two black boxes that arrived with the ecu's





The one in the second picture has some writing on it, it says - bitron video, CA/PSA, 12V

Niether of them looks like a mirror control box to me, the connections don't look right (as far as I can remember).
When I have time I'll remove a door panel and compare it.
Alternatively, can somebody identify these two?

The Bitroen box controls the two rad cooling fans I think. Texton box could be to do with central locking, but I am guessing - no doubt another member will know for sure.

First box is the RF Remote locking reciver box from under the glove box

Second one is the door window control box i think, the mirror control box has an instrument type plug on it....

So neither of those boxes are it.....

Hi All

I can confirm Citroenxm's identification of the two black boxes. The RF receiver (the first one) is hard coded and totally useless without one or both of the matching Plips. The unique code electric looks to me to be E 327D6 so if it works it needs plips marked 327D6.0 or 327D6.1 and they need to be working too.

The second box operates the single push buttons on a drivers window switch. Normally sits just above the courtesy light on the inside of the drivers door trim panel.
