Ok... so which is the REAR heated window relay???

The rear screen is dead in my Black Onyx, its not the switch as Ive tried 4 of them.. the relay doesn't click and theres no light on the switch..

I was all prepared to go through the fuse box, but as minijet has provided a picture I dont need to, I just need to ask..

Great pic minijet... rear heated screen???

Thanks
Paul

Sorry about this, but just a couple more to identify........well it might be useful someday.

I know the black 'Texton' box is the remote locking receiver.
Can someone put a name to the two relays please (under the glove box).

Also, I have no power at the armrest switch..................anyone know where the fuse or relay is please?

yup...

The green one is the control relay for your blower.... it sits between ignition on and an Engine running relay... the engine starts switches on a relay, that then activates that black relay....

The black one is related to the interior lighting circuit...
I only know this from recent work on my black Onyx..

Thanks Paul,

How do you find this out? Do you simply unplug the relay and see what happens?

I've just found some more relays above the drivers footwell, next to a couple of ecu's. I think there were three relays - orange, black and maybe green (not sure now), it was too dark to take a picture.

Still looking for the arm rest fuse/relay.......... unsure.gif

Thanks again,

Paul.

Paul

A lot of messing when my interior lighting didn't work when I got the car and also the blower didn't work... tongue.gif

As far as the electric arm rest goes, the system in my V6 12v and the 24v both factory ones have never played up.

My after market fitment picks it power up from the rear window switches, but Im unsure of standard ones and how they are wired...

On my model the electric armrest is wired through F24 and relay 817 which also powers the heated seats. Unfortunately I haven't found a diagram showing the physical location of this relay. And, BTW, my car is a LHD model smile.gif

In case it's ever of use to anybody in the future, I thought I'd mention that I found the fuse for the armrest.
It's fuse number 35.
I must have taken it out to replace a blown one somewhere else and forgotten about it........oops.........can't blame this one on Citroen.
It says in the owners handbook that 35 is for the heated seats (I don't have them) and cig lighter (don't need it), but no mention of the armrest.

Hi,

Would anybody care to put a name to each of the items I've numbered here please, I'll start the ball rolling...........no.7 Fusebox (the only one I know).

I know there's an ECU for the engine and one for the ABS, and I think there's one for the suspension, and what about the one with the two pins that have to be bridged to get the cruise control working..................

Is there a cure for the cruise control failure, as the one mentioned here?
thanks
Caique
