Bx Query (i Know It's The Wrong Forum; Please Read

Hi Guys,

I had the BX Forum saved but could not log on, so.......... a friend of mine (who now owns my famous vegi oil BX TZD) needs to replace one of the hydraulic pipes that run front to back behind the nearside sill. There are four pipes in all; three are the same diameter and one is slightly larger. Does anyone know the part number of the larger diameter pipe? Local Citroen agents are being as helpful as they can, but their database won't let them order the pipe without a part number, the part number can't be found without a body/chassis number, and this number has been lost under a respray.

That sounds like a tall tale

Can you identify the length and the size (3.5mm or 4.5mm dia)? If you can, just let me know, and I'll make you a pipe and post it to you (if he's close enough he could pick it up. Where does your friend live?). I'll do it for the cost of the parts (pipe, ends x 2, seals x 2). you can get the prices from Pleaides, thats where I buy all my stuff.
