I've just got back from 2 weeks in Mallorca and have to say as far as the classic type of Citroen is concerned, they are very few and far between sad.gif .
I saw one 2CV in fair condition. A couple of beat up ZX's. No BX's. No XM's. No AX's. But! I did see a CX25 Gti ohmy.gif . Local registration tatty but the suspension appeared to work ok as it drove away from me on a bumpy road. One or two C3's. A couple of smart(ish) Xantias. A few C4's. One C5 and thats yer lot. Very disappointing.

Petrol is just over one euro a litre. Believe it or not food is VERY expensive. We were self catering and I got through a grand in two weeks, mostly on food! Eating out is a luxury even for pub meal type food.

The buses are cheap you can get most places for less than 2 euros. (If you can get on the bus in the first place). To be fair to the drivers they pack you in like sardines and driving manners are pretty good. I was going to hire a car but didn't bother because of the amount of money we were getting through.

Hi All,
could save a few bob if you fancy something similar with us in the Eastern Algarve sometime, we see a good handful of XM's still doing sterling service around there and food is good and inexpensive.
Might even let you have a blat round in our XM !!!! (presently a 2.1 TD Auto Series I )
Will be driving out again very shortly and will then have 2 XM's there for a while, might even try Peter's "tankful of fuel challenge" on the way down if time permits. It's about 27 hours drive from Boulogne.
twinvilla dot com shows what we're about at that end if anyone cares to have a look.
Regards,
Rodders and Pat.

Surprisingly, France seems to be considerably lacking in XMs. We saw none in Brittany but there were several around Cherbourg, we even saw an estate!. I was nearly hit by a woman in a BX the day we came home, and yes, I was on the correct side of the road!
