Hello all.
I have an XM slowly deteriorating in my garden.
Originally a project, but I have run out of time.
The model is a series 1 2ltr prestige, K registration. Dark metallic green. Sorned since 1998.
It was my car until it blew up in '98. Apparent oil pump failure but I'm not convinced.
I replaced the engine, yes I did it believe it or not, I'm only a DIYer.
It worked fine but had electrical glitches which were beyond me.
The poor thing hasn't been touched since then and needs someone to take her on either for doing up or for a christmas tree.
She is FREE to whoever would like her.
She is not a runner now, (unfortunately mice have got to a loom), so she's down on her haunches and cannot be raised hydraulically.
Located outside of Ipswich, to be collected if wanted, thats all of her, not bits and pieces please.
I'll watch this space for a week or so and then if there's no response I'm afraid she'll have to be scrapped.
