How are the back brakes tested anyway? I thought they would only work with a test weight in the back.

On the garage rollers like the fronts... unsure.gif not sure what you're asking.

Are you getting confused by the situation when the car is jacked up & the rear wheels are off the ground?

OR....if you have a three wheeler (like my dads old isetta), or a car that can't be tested on the rollers the tester takes out a swinging weight tester and puts it in the footwell.
