I didn't notice that. I wonder if its still on the original clutch? I would think even the fuel pipes would be worn out.

yeah, effectively 3 return trips to the moon, I'd think a lot of running repairs along the way too. Wonder what the seat's are like - the driver's would be pretty worn out by now.

Guess metal fatigue would be a factor too, after all, things are engineered to 'just' do the job these days, not run on forever.

It's probably like Trigger's broom........every part has been replaced several times over, so that nothing remains of the original car

I just rang up about the car, and apparently it is a typing mistake.

The car is on 149k miles.

It was taken in P/X on a C5 Diseasel.

He doesn't know when the timing belt was changed.

For a VSX i think the spec is a bit suspect.....

No Air Con or Cruise Control, does have a trip computer and electric seats though.

£995 isn't a bad price though i guess.

Same spec as my N/95 2.0 turbo VSX then............

Sounds right to me and is the same as mine.

Air-Con was not standard on the VSX till a bit later (and so many of the 2.5s were built in 94/95 I suspect you have to get a lot later to find it) Not sure when it did become standard, but in 95 it was an option.

Cruise was also not standard on the VSX. I don't know if it was added as a standard feature later. Being a 2.5 though all you would need is the stalk and switch.

Ahhh...

Being as I have only been in an Exclusive Series 2 i was thinking that for the model below Exclusive it would of had more bits on it.

Mk1's came in 4 trim levels but Mk2's in only 3 trim levels and not all models of MK2's were made in all 3 trim levels. For example there were no SX 2.5's car or estate made and 2.5 estates were VSX only. Aircon was an option on early 2.5's but there are also a number that were retro aircon fitted to a poorer standard. I do not think any of the bottom spec Mk1's were made in RHD so in the UK the Mk1 car always has a better trim spec than its eqivalent Mk2 car.
