Hi, some of you in here know me from the XM-l forum, I'm also active on club-xm, mp3car and digital car.


Some of us expressed an interest a few months ago (on mp3car) in tyre pressure monitoring, and as such have clubbed together to do a group buy of a tyre pressure monitoring system for our cars.

The unit is as used by OEM car manufacturers, IE sensor in wheel, transmits to a dash mounted receiver with a little screen to warn of low pressure

We know have 12 people interested, but we need 20+ to get the bulk discount.

At current exchange rates/guesstimates and wind in right direction the price of a 5 wheel system should be about 80 ukp (on ebay expect to pay about 110)

No one is being asked for money, I talked it over on the other forum and decided that best was if anyone from XM ordered one I would pay for it, and then they would pay me on delivery, this helped open the buy up to unknown members to the other group, who were worried some would order and not pay.

That may seem like a risk to some on my behalf, but I know most people in here from long ago as I have read the group for years even though my xant died a long time ago.

Sorry mods if in this one you have rules against group buys saving people money, but if anyone wants anymore info then I suggest you post directly on the forum where its being discussed

Yes you will have to sign up to read the page, but if siging up is a little too much trouble, then maybe the group buy is not for you anyway.

Hoping to add a few more members to the group buy, and see you on the other forum if you join in.
