The hydraulic pump on my 2.5 seems to have got quite noisy. I am almost sure it is the pump because the noise started when I flushed the system with Hydraflush but I have now replaced it with LHM.
Can the pumps be overhauled, new bearings or whatever? Just to let you know, I drove down to Essex and back over the weekend, over 500 miles each way. On the way down on Monday I drove overnight to miss the Easter traffic. I just poodled down at 65 - 70 mph because I had a fair bit of gear in the car. MPG? 48.6 going down and coming back I pushed on a wee bit it went down to 45.7. I think that's incredible for a car like this -------------------- Perthshire. Scotland
