Wondered if anyone had used or heard of these people. I found them on the web but the webpage was really out of date so I contacted them and they are still trading (Manchester way)

They have quoted £215 to replace all 8 spheres on my 2.5td. I know that the spheres are refurbished but its still seems like a good deal to me. It means my driving down from Scotland but he says he only needs tha car for 2 hours so I'm going to organise it.

I personally think that Westroen are brilliant.

Their price is fitted and with a 3 year warranty. I don't know how they do it for the price.

Just between me and you they might give you a discount if the spheres coming off are fit to re use, just don't bank on it.

I had refurbished spheres from them for a BX some years ago and happy to confirm bigjohnh's endorsement.

I'll echo the endorsements above.

My first foray into Citroen hydraulics was my Activa. I didn't have a clue about changing spheres so entrusted all ten of them to Westroen.

Good service & rock-solid guarantee. If they were nearer I'd have let them change my centre spheres today rather than having a really sore neck tonight from the bashing, pulling and struggling to undo them on the drive today. sad.gif

Aftermarket spheres (£22 - £25) plus postage versus Westroen spheres £30 each and fitted while-you-wait. It's a no brainer if you're willing to travel.

Watch your side mirrors! It's a bit tight going down his narrow drive to the workshop at the rear of his house. It's Doug Westland and his son, but I think it's mainly his son that does the work these days; both nice guys. smile.gif

I can add to that as well. Found them through ebay and Doug and his son (mostly his son) did all 7 spheres on my 91 hatchback last week for £185, fitted. Was fantastic value and service and the car now feels like it should. Took about an hour and is well worth the trip even if you're not local. David
