Well, wait till you do the rears as well, see what happens, and then proceed to next action... The dropping of rear could well be due to that (if it's not electronic-related). Mine does it sometimes when turn ignition ON after having done a run. But in cars with antisink (can't rememebr if urs has one) the relevant valve is also behaving weird some times -usually a hydraflushing session fixes it-. cheers G -------------------- XM '94 V6 12v, manual, Diravi - Mark "1.5" in black - bought: 138,000mls now: 167,000 miles

Just been reminded of this thread, and have re-read your original saga George.
My S1 has developed some suspension issues recently (which I'm nearly sure are electronic), however in the course of diagnosing them, I'm coming around to the same conclusions as you, i.e there may be a pressure problem, and that the front struts may not be absorbing bumps too well. Interestingly, I've had hydraflush in there for about 3000 miles and initally it was getting softer for quite a while, but its now not as goodas it was. Going to go down the Hydronet route like you I think... Ciarán -------------------- '95 XM 2.1TD VSX Hatch: RP 6429. Rare green ;-)

Hi Ciaran Hydraflush will (should) do the job equally but slower than Hydronet, at the end you shouldn't worry about the availability of Hydronet. I say this as I had been trying to get it from France back then to distribute to all of you, but I found they just can't to bother. Although I had asked for 10-15 lts, this is nothing for the whole-seller, and the retailers won't do international business. Otherwise, I'm coming to the conclusion that Hydraflush should be best left in the car till the job is done, exceeding Citroen's specification, while keeping always a close eye on how everything hydraulic functions and on regulator clicking time. Throughout the flushing -and not only- I was taking measures of the cycling time -this will show immediately if something is going bang-. That's a risky strategy but I decided to me it doens't make sense driving a Citroen where the No1 advantage doesn't work...Remember: this decision comes *after* I had fixed all that could be fixed! Perhaps yours is now getting worse because major dirt has been moved around, nothing indicates it's a linear process after all... But yes, measuring the pressure output is a must...I was so lucky that my indy had the equipment !!! In October I'll switch back to hydraflush for a "finishing cleaning" of 1,000mls, then bleed brakes, put spare cleaned LHM tank and 2 brand new filters, and that's me done with this story. Car has behaved constantly well since I reverted to LHM in May -done about 1,000 since and no citrobics at all, just to see-. LHM is still gleaming like the day I put it -a sign that all is clean in there (because I've read other cases where people put fresh LHM and it becomes yellow-dirty in a month or two)-. cheers George -------------------- XM '94 V6 12v, manual, Diravi - Mark "1.5" in black - bought: 138,000mls now: 167,000 miles
