Replying to an electrical article I posted earlier but it seems to have dissapeared.
I reported that my vehicle suffered sudden failure to the indicators, rear wipe, computer display and supply to the glow plugs/stop solonoid. Anyway, after poking about under the dashboard where the fuse/relay box resides I found where my problems lay. Several respondents suggested that the earthing points are notoriously unreliable - but re-doing these made no difference. My problems were due to a loose wiring connector adjacent the fuse board and another connector that was showing signs of overheating. This needed splicing to bypass the burnt connector. Not sure if this is an inherent problem on these cars but perhaps something to check if you get electrical problems. -------------------- 1992 2.1TD Estate
