I'm selling my CX 22TRS, because my girlfriend prefers the XM. It's an F-reg 22TRS Croisette, silver, and in very good nick apart from a slightly squint bonnet and a rusty boot lid. All the difficult, expensive and generally unpleasant jobs have been done - new rear arm bearings, new spheres, a couple of CV joint boots, the heater matrix, new radiator, and a few pipes. Doubtless there will be bits that will need fettled.

The car is taxed and MOTed to September, and shouldn't need much more than a pipe or two for the next one (being entirely honest, maybe the handbrake cables, too).

I'm looking for about £700. I'm in Glasgow, if you want to come round for a look.

I've got 2 TRS's and a GTi already. If I bought another one 'er indoors would go mental.

My master plan is to put a 2.5TD lump from an XM in the GTi which has a bust block.

Noz - might actually have a more-or-less running GTi for sale - the bloke that owns it is moving away. AFAIK it needs a lower engine mounting at the driver's side, and a new radiator (these two things are not unconnected!).

Other than that, it appears to be basically sound, if a little scruffy.

I think he wants about £500 for it.
