Hi. Not intending to start a section about Xantia's on this site. But thought I'd let you know my news - just bought a '98 Xantia Exclusive to join my '93 XM 2.0 turbo.

So once I flog off the 1978 Ford Ecsort MKII i'll have 100% Citroen household.

HI

We don`t mind the odd Xantia popping up now and the but when you start putting abuse on like Escort o dear I said it

Should all be in scrappy by now rusty old Fo-d rubbish ah ah

You should be very happy with Xantia as long as it`s been looked after !!!

Good luck M8

When I recently took one of the XM's for its MOT the garage decided it was an Xantia with a broken name badge. After 3 attempts to correct them I gave up in case they took umbrage and fail the car.

Well m8

it goes to show that a lot of so called mechanics have not got a clue

Were I take mine for mot they all go on brew soon as they see a citroen of any kind

all of them hate them !!

Only one they see is mine one day I was asked what do you want an Xm for worse than a Bx

Well 3 mot later still not failed it

Sometimes I think they just pass it to get shut of me, just incase someone else with a citroen see`s me have it done Ah ah

Didn`t like me takeing my old BX`s to them always passed better for me I thats the case saves money

that all i have to say for now

The head gasket went on my 2.1 td VSX estate and no one was prepared to fix it, Citroen want approaching £1000 to do it, so I did it myself eventually, now can understand why! still a fantastic car though, will continue to run them as long as I can get decent ones (at a reasonable price). I am not really suprised that it wasn't recognised as there are relativly few about, the '96 manual model which I have, only sold 61 in this country, and I have had 2 of them.
