I have a track bike, 2 road bikes, a single speed road bike, a fixed gear road bike, a mountain bike, an insane chopper, a tourer, a 4 speed Raleigh upright, a 5 speed frankenbike for winter, a tandem, I HAD a Raleigh 20 I was hotrodding, but it was stolen and needs replacment, I have two 60's Moultons, an HR Bates BAR, which was the best racing bike of 1940, and all manner of other odd projects kicking around!

Blimey, Sam ---- you must have the world's most unreliable XM !

Mike.

Because I have all those bikes? I've only had my XM 3 weeks! I really enjoy cycling, plus I try to reduce my car use where I can, and it gets me fit - all sorts of bonuses.

All I can tell you about Halfords and hose clips is that the individual I asked needed to ask someone else what they were, and where. The answer he got was "if we've got any, they'll be with the tools". They weren't.

I was in Halfords the other week looking for a torx screwdriver. I have an excellent motor factor practically opposite my house, but sadly he doesn't open on Sundays.

I couldn't find a torx screwdriver on the shelf so asked the spotty oik... who tried to sell me a torque wrench rolleyes.gif

In their defence, I have managed to buy a bumper size box of blade fuses from there on a Sunday morning. Can't knock 'em for that.

I'll NEVER need to buy a blade fuse EVER again!

I've about 3 Xantia Fuse Boxes still full of the things plus MANY more removed from cars when I couldn't get the Fuse Boxe out of the cars!!

Same goes for bulbs too!
