Hi all.
Don't know if anyone else has noticed this, but on my present toy if you have had it on high to do something underneath and then set it back to normal with the ignition off and not immediately going anywhere it stays on high. When I next use it, it's a very short run (50 - 60 yards) to the end of the road and there is a very distinct lag in brake application. It's as though while it's settling back to normal height following the ignition turn on, the hydraulics are confused about what's going on. Mike. -------------------- XM 2.5VSX Estate RP 7185

It's because the anti sink valves have closed and isolated the suspension from the height control valves. When you restart the engine, system pressure builds up and opens the A/S valves and the height control valves can do their job aagin. Don't know about your funny brakes though, I assume you waited until the hydro and brake warnings disappeared from the left hand display?
