Hi All

Got the Black onyx yesterday, but discovered there to be NO interior lights.

So, put a load of bulbs in bingo, all working... Then tonight, made sure interior light switch on dash was off, closed the door.. lights stayed on..

Locked the door, lights started to fade, got to half light, then faded back up to full and stayed ON

Door switches in A pillars work as the door lights, in the bottom of the door cards go on and off as normal, so I guess then the light timer fade unit????

Anyone know were this unit is located? I've never known a problem with fading interior lights before

Thanks in advance

Regards

Hi citroenxm, on my series one it was the blue coloured rectangular box of tricks located under the dash - drivers side, the pull down flap with lots of electrickery fastened to it.

Good luck, Colin.P

Cairan

So have you fixed it yet! tongue.gif ??

Eveyone else,

I'm starting to like this 2.oi thing, but not sure what to do...

Dont all jump up hands up for my V6 with LPG.. I'm still loathed to let it go as its been so good, and theres not much wrong with it..

If someone can find me a Leather interior, alloys, and cruise control parts etc, then we MAY sort something...

I dont mind letting the 12v V6 go as I have my 24v V6 biggrin.gif

Any way... back to interior lights subject .......................................

Cairan,

Cant keep dooing that ... doesn't do the electro valves any good...

try removing the bulbs instead, as per previous owner had done on mine...

No, it must work properly..

RE: Leather, a car I can strip I would prefer, rather then take a car away, not enough space at the moment..!!

Really? I didn't know having the battery off could cause problems with the valves, whys that?

As for the leather, Willie Johnson had several cars with full interiors last time I was down there...

Hi Paul

You are not the only one running out of space. Yesterday the only place I could find for the spare set of car leather was to stack it on up the roof of a couple of the cars. It will have to go as soon as I have an estate back on the road. Now I have to empty the two cars outside so I can take them for MOT. Still at least I have now found most of the sets of estate leather and trim I want to keep.

Regards

Know what you mean about the space problems. I've actually had to 'outsource' storage for two Xantias over to my parents place for the moment. Taking bets as to how long it'll be until my Ma kills me! laugh.gif
