Hi all,
I am new to the forum, I have two 2.1 td's which I have been permanently reprieving from the chinese steel industry. In my latest attempt to save the 1993 SED I need to know if I can change it's 283mm discs and calipers for the 276mm ones from my 91 td. Has anyone any experience of this please? Best Regards |

no reason you shouldn't be able to swap them, but you will need the calipers to fit the bigger discs also.

Thanks for that. When I started the work I discovered that someone had bodged newer 283mm pads onto the 276mm discs. The pads were nearly new and my SED discs are not as bad as I thought so I have just done a quick pad swap to get the SED stopping.
