Hi Folks
As per title. Has anyone got an exhaust manifold for a 2.0 8v with no cat that they are willing to part with? Mine has a crack, and I would prefer to replace it than try to get it welded/repaired. Local Citroen Stealer tells me that they are available for £200 or there abouts. Buying from them would be a last resort. Is anything similar fitted to a Xantia, 605, 406?

I have a 2 litre carb. model for dismantling for spares, and I understand that the manifold is the same. I cannot offer to do it myself, but you are welcome to come and extract it yourself (for free). It is in the open,but all assistance is offered to lift the car and prop it up if necessary. I am located 3 miles from J20 on the M1, so local to M6 and A14. -------------------- Xantia 2 litre HDi Saloon X reg 1999

Steve, I imagine the same engine was used in the 605, and some early Xantias, but it is probably a very rare engine to find these days in a scrappy.
Techman, we have met before on the CCC forums, I would love to take you up on the offer of your exhaust manifold, but I have a small issue. I am in Northern Ireland, so not very local to you.
