I thought my S1 and S1.5 velour sets were great, but leather looks good

Yes, I agree entirely, that's the point! The leather may "look" great but the velour is
MORE comfortable. Anyhow, this is all subjective and for me likely dependent on the
shape of my backside and which car I tend to find myself driving the most at any
particular point in proceedings.

Does anyone think S1 seats are more comfortable than S2 due to being firmer.?

No! Definitely not. That's the one thing about the S1 that was a disappointment for me - the slightly Germanic seating. The Pallas-like S2 seats (no electrics, no leather, just miles of squidge) are just so much better suited to my bum.

Being the correct weight for my height I like my cushions to carry the flab instead laugh.gif

That sounds very wrong to me Phil, the s1 seats in your latest SD sound very firm;
these are the non electric velour aren't they? What pattern is the material - is it like this:

The seats on my SX feel pretty much the same as the VSX, with the absence of motors of course.

Those are the ones old bean, yes. And it's really not my imagination - I clambered into my S2 this morning having just shut the door on the S1, and it's noticeably fluffier smile.gif

Does the lack of electrics make a genuine difference? (General question, neither of my cars has electric adjustments)

What scores points for the non electric seats as well as the squishier squab and
covering velour is the lack of electric motors under the seat which has permitted the fitment
of pre-MP3 era Sony CD multi changers without having to faff about in the boot.

I have an old style Sony 10CD changer under the electric passenger seat. It was a bit of a close fit and required a bit of improvisation to make a custom cradle, but it is possible.

That interior looks very nice, im starting to come around to the S1 interior styling!

I like my Sxs seats, when we had the VSX i always thought the seats were harder and not as soft. I put this down to it being a newer and lower mileage car, but maybe its the fact they were electric.

The Xms seats are one of the best ive sat in, you dont get armchairs like those now. So soft and squdgey but wit the right amount of support.

On the other hand Saxos have THE worst seats, just pure foam, after about 20 minutes you have a numb bum!

An armrest would be nice in the Xm, might have to see if i can find an electric one to try and fit.

I find the seats in my S1 to be firmer than in my S2. Perhaps because it has only done 34k miles that they haven't really got broke in properly.
