And you'd HAVE to stop at Holyhead to exchange details and information on your way home! I'm about 8 miles from Holyhead port!!!

I didn't know that, but duly remembered smile.gif. Will be sure and drop in to exchange notes if I'm ever passing. Can't leave the XMs alone together for too long mind you, or they may start comparing fault notes of their own laugh.gif

The manual car on ebay lists the following fault..

... some hesitancy at low throttle openings

Any thoughts as to what might be the cause? I've not experienced this on my PRV-engined R30, but that's at the opposite end of the development path - has carbs and points an 'ting. wink.gif

Air flow sensor, temperture sensor, or any other sort of small sensor that Fuel injection requires!!

My V6 gives a bit of hesetancy when I rev up after a short idle, but it poses no problems because as soon as I switch to Gas, its runs a dream and so smooth with no hesitancy what so ever!

It's back on - original text suggests it has a long MOT but some time has passed since it was written - it runs out in May.

Hi people.

I've asked the guy the pertinent question --- find below (I hope) his reply.

" Ha!..........if only they would see it! Nobody has ever come to look at it

Listed it several times - sold it once to a guy in S Wales & he cocked up without ever seeing the car......loads of excuses business blather etc etc

Ever since when relisted it has not met my (very modest) reserves....and nobody has come to look. What happens is nobody looks/bids then at the last moment random beings bid a couple of hundred pounds on the 'oh well whatever it is like it must be worth that principle'....but that won't buy it

Then a guy in Kent or somewhere decided he wanted at reasonable money (700 ish) it but never got his act together to collect & i was too busy at that time to deliver & then i was without a car & found i needed it again so i never pursued him

i drove it 120 miles yesterday.......most of it @ 95-105mph...down the M6/M62............it is quite a nice thing. I am not that bothered about keeping it if nobody buys it but i only use it spasmodically

If you are interested ring me & i'll tell you all about it as i'm too old for endless emailing! "

So there you have it.

Mike.
