That black one was on ebay just before Xmas on a buy it now wasn't it!?
Mind, I thought it was in Devon!! What's the story there then!!? Is the 24v silver or the darker platinum grey? Andrew |

Caught me out! Yes, it was saved from the clutches of its owner wanting to cube it!! Sounds actually like it was too good for that from what my friend tells me!! Bitontheside, No its lived in Devon for some time.. however, its has a few miles so it could have been to the wirral previously in its time.. Its currently waiting for me in the Wirral now.. My 24v, its the Grey, not silver.. Wouldn't mind another for panel spares.. and I've also lost the scuttle side moulding last november, colour coded of course, so theres a black gone drab grey one on at the moment.. You may well have seen 'that black one' heading out of the Mersey tunnel-it was me driving it-I took it to Formby for a spin and I collected it from Devon-the exhaust snapped shortly into journey home-nice RAC man did a good temp repair. Pretty soon it will be going to Anglesey-it really was too good for cubing!

My first shot on here of the wonderfully brilliant, to me any way, V6 12v auto..
she NEVER lets me down, its been to Winchester 3 times now and scotland twice... without AA or RAC.. she just gets me there... Also the ONLY thing that plays up now is the ABS. Other then that EVERYTHING even the Air Con now works! My Pal Roger, who has not yet joined the forum, and just bought an Onyx, has found both Oynx badges in the glovebox.

Hi Robert
The badges come with adhesive ready applied with a peel off paper strip. I have recovered quite a few XM badges now and find some well fixed and difficult to remove while others just drop off at the first touch of the scraper blade. I suspect that it is those on cars put through car washes a lot that peel easy as all on any one car seem to be the same whether factory or owner applied.
