I left one of my two garage doors open this afternoon with the light on. A blackbird obviously decided to shelter from the biting north wind. You should see the mess in there, not only the cars (V6 and wife's ZX), but all the machinery in my worksop area as well. It's going to take me a week to clear up after him/her.
Blackbird pie anyone if I can catch it? (Only joking, when you've gotta go you've gotta go). Derek -------------------- 1999 3.0V624v Exclusive Black! (RP8362)

I have first hand experience of what bird s**t can do to paint, two weeks after i had the xm resprayed i came out to find a large present on the bonnet, it must have only been on there a matter of hours but when i cleaned it off i found it had left a mark that looked like the lacquer had melted

Cars now cleaned with no apparent damage. Machinery and workbenches next.
When I walked into the garage the bird went to panic stations. I tried at first to get behind it and shoo it out but realised I was making matters worse, so I left the garage for half an hour and when I went back it had disappeared. It was black so it was a male. I blame 'er indoors for feeding the things. Derek -------------------- 1999 3.0V624v Exclusive Black! (RP8362)
