Hello again.
I´m not shure if any of you guys knows about this site.
Is a Genuine Citroen Service Site, that you just need to register. On this, you´ll have access to all Citroen Models Parts Catalog, available on all languages and if you filter through your Car´s Vin Plate it will only show the parts installed on your car. You can check parts prices also and print a Pick list with your parts. In this case you just need to go to your Citroen Dealer and order them.
The Site is:
http://service.citroen.com.
Through this catalog, I´ve identified the XM Multimedia Tables for the rear Seats (please find attached Photo) and the best new of all is the price. Contrasting with all XM Parts Prices, it costs only 30.96€ the Pair. I have Savanna Cream Leather on my XM so i will order them. I´ve checked also on the catalog if the seat structure was different for the Multimedia Model to support those tables, but.... GOOD NEWS... Is exactly the same.
The reference for the table pair is "00008913GK".
If anyone wants to install it, please post pictures. I will do the Same.
I´m doing the installation of a DVD monitor on the Centre console for the rear seats. My major concern is that must look like original fitting and not an improvised solution with straps and that you can remove it with no signs to anyone (specially for thiefs). For this i´ve made a mounting Bracket installed on a spare rear seats Ashtray. When i want to install it, it takes me 1 minute. I remove the original ashtray and install this one with the mounting.
I will post photos on the next few days.
Kind regards from Portugal.

i've seen that website before but you need to register as a trade. its been mentioned before that you can register for free and get some info but that only seems to be the user manual. did you have to a subs for a short time to get the info.

nice idea about the dvd player in the back for the kids / grandparents.

I did think of doing something similar in mine, complete with independant headphone sockets for them. but then i had a third child and the seats just dont work. our people carrier has the trays though. easy broken by aforementioned children / grandparents!

Some of us already use it. You can register for free without having to be Trade, and you get the full parts catalogue lookup with prices.

There should be a register link under the login boxes. It will ask you what type of 'professional' you are - just pick anything as there is no requirement to prove it, just statistics at their end I should think.

Hello again. Please find below the DVD Mount almost finished. I´m sorry do not have photos during the custruction but no camera was available. The base is a XM Ashtray, alluminium sheet covered with black leather., Alluminium shims for angle correction (otherwise it would be impossible or to see the movie or to open the center console compartment in the front. It will be connected directly to the car 12Volts wiring with a transformer rectifier to 10 Volts(I hate Cigarette Lighter chargers) and controlled by a switch. This switch is a specific Citroen XM MK1 rear window heater switch that will be installed on the Rear Seat Heaters Switch (Option not available on my car) hole on the centre console. Switch logo has been replaced by DVD Logo and gets illuminated with the panel lights on. I´ve installed earphone plugs on the centre console to avoid excessive stress on the DVD earphone plugs.
To prevent that DVD/Ashtray fall due to excessive weight, a rod has been installed on the back and attached with a pin to a small bracket (see picture - Clevis bracket) Installed on the center console. like that you´ll take 30 seconds to install it.
Hope you guys like and do the same.
Electrics will be done tomorrow. New photos of complete instalation will be post later.
Kind Regards.
Miguel
