Has anyone done this?

Can they please supply an outline of what needs to be removed (subframe dropped, etc)?

Rob,

If you mean the rear one then here goes:

Drop spare wheel carrier, remove spare wheel, remove carrier
Remove rear exhaust section
Either drop down or remove middle exhaust section
Now the sphere and bracket are visible above the circular crossmember at the nearside
Disconnect the 3.5mm hydraulic pipe after depressurising the system
using a cold chisel or the correct sized socket undo the big (35mm approx) nut which holds the sphere to the bracket.
There are three bolts holding the L-shaped bracket to the chassis, with the sphere loose undo and remove these (easier said than done)
The bracket and sphere should come away together in your hand

Its not possible to take the sphere away first then undo the bracket bolts - it just wont come out past the bracket sides

Replacement is the reverse of removal as they say.

Hope this helps.

Cheers

Noz.,

Thanks. This is for the anti-sink, not hydractive, I take it?

Cheers

Rob,

The anti-sink and the hydractive are mounted very close together at the back and the job is the same for both of them. The Hydractive sphere is more towards the middle of the crossmember whereas the anti-sink is to the nearside. The anti-sink only has 1 x 3.5mm pipe connected whereas the hydractive has 2 x 10mm, 1 x 3.5mm and a rubber return hose connected to it.

Cheers
