Hi Jackboy
I Took one off a few weeks ago but the engine was out and i did it from above, so i was cheating slightly but it was easy. The car will need to be on axle stands, depressurise, undo and remove the pipes that run to the height corrector, lever off the plastic ball and socket type link from the corrector itself, unbolt H.C from the mounting plate and remove, sounds simple enough doesn't it biggrin.gif , I suppose it all depends on how willing you are to be led on your back in the cold with a torch in your mouth and lhm running down your arms unsure.gif
If i have forgotten anything I'm sure someone will be along in a bit

Dean

And that's about the front one of course, the rear one is unthinkable if you do not have a 4-post lift.

cheers

To get to the rear i took the spare wheel carrier off, the last two silencers, then remove the heat shield that covers the hydraulic gubbins (2 clips + 2 10mm bolts) and then you can get to it, I had mine up on axle stands, and once all of the above is out of the way, you actually have quite a bit of room, ish biggrin.gif .
