Hi all.
Have occasionally had a situation with the current toy where the radio appears dead, then comes back to life. Also, erratic sounding of the alarm for no apparent reason. Had a look today and found that it's the same fuse for both. Checked the fuse and it wasn't blown, but seemed to have a hairline crack in the metal conductor. Have replaced it and will now see if the issue is cured. I reckon that the intermittent making and breaking of the circuit was confusing the alarm, which starts to sound if the current has been interrupted then re-established. No sign of overheating to the legs of the fuse -- I think it may have been straightforwardly a defective fuse. Mike. -------------------- XM 2.5VSX Estate RP 7185
