First time the temperature's dropped enough to need to scrape the car (-3 according to the car's thermometer) and I've noticed that the passenger side heater isn't working.

I don't yet have a Haynes Book of Jokes for the car, so I'm appealing to you guys. I'm assuming it's flaps and pulleys rather than two separate heater matrices, one for each side of the car?

Any tips as to where I should start looking to troubleshoot?

It only has one system for the whole car, so if you have heat on the drivers side but not the passengers, I can only suggest a blocked or disconnected duct. Do you have heat to the centre and side vents?

I expect someone has been in there before and not fitted the duct back correctly on the passenger side of the centre console.

Damn. I hate taking dashboards out sad.gif

There's a bulb out behind the heating controls too so, I guess it's just time to bite the bullet and dive in.

I'm only getting cold air from the left-hand central vent, the left-hand vent by the door, and the left side of the screen-clearing vent. The right-side vents all blow hot.

Perhaps worthwhile taking off the glove box first, I rememeber u can see some air ducts from under there.

cheers

That sounds very odd, both centre vents are fed by the same ducting.
