Hi All
Many of us want new Plip cases but have a care in getting the right ones. There is currently an ebay item 220167017267 Citroen XM Xantia Brand new pair of key fobs. I have checked with the seller and these items are Xantia fobs. They look very like XM Mk2 Plips but are slightly different and will not physically accept an XM Mk2 plip pcb. If you look closely at the photo you will see that the window for the red led is also in the wrong place (down near the centre of the two push buttons). Only Citroen could design two totally different and incompatible Plips for models in production at the same time. Are you sure about that? My sister in law recently had to get one for her Yaris. The one she got was not quite right, but was close enough that it fits and works with a bit of forcing. There are a number of subtly different ones for the Toyota range as far as I can tell, and that is before you start getting different numbers of buttons. Peugeot are worse that Citroen as well - but not exactly a different company. -------------------- 94M XM 2.5 TD VSX Estate RP 6430 Forest Green
