Has anyone tried the hair dryer method on small dents? I mean those parking lot dents the size of a penny. Just wondering if it works or is it only good for bigger damage.

I intend to try it on both. I have a larger dent on the rear quarter and a couple of small door knocks on the drivers door. If the CO2 lasts I will try both, but if I fail I will have no idea if it is a lack of technique or if it doesn't work on the particular dents.

That is assuming I get round to trying it at some point of course. It may be a while before I do.

Thanks for the advice.

My wife was knocked a lane and a half across the M40 by a german lorry who put a big dent in the door. Incredible it was the only damage and no injuries. if I can get away with the cold/hot treatment it will really be a luck escape!

Cheers

Hi all

There is a thread about this dent removal technique somewhere else on the forum, I did try it a couple of times on an old mondeo i had (first by kicking it to make a few dents biggrin.gif ) and then following the instructions on the video, but with no real success.
But as rowanmoor said i dont know if it was lack of skill or if it just doesn't work.
