Just been on ebay and noticed an electronic repair kit for xms for 29.99 claiming to restore the magic carpet ride by linking a black box to the ecu, has anyone bought this yet and does it work? I am myself interested as my xm seems to be temporarily firm and bouncy at times and was about to change the rear spheres as I did with my Xantia activa this time last year to good effect.

Hi Marty,
Yes look at the next thread in this "Hydraulic" section titled "Suspension ecu?" There's lots of info in there and the parts sold on ebay are built by Roy Mackay aka mackay1 on this forum. Loads of people have used them. They are well built and excellent value. He is a very helpful man and will give you all the tips you need to get the electronics working again. Cheers. -------------------- Dave.
