If you're planning on getting a new battery do it sooner rather than later. I bought one yesterday (Friday) and the shop owner said prices were due to rise by 8% next week and another price rise is planned for November. All due to the rocketing price of lead. sad.gif

Hi all.

And if you do replace the battery, always try and get one that's 'top uppable'. Choose what the labels say, at the relatively budget end of the battery market our cars inhabit, there is in reality no such thing as 'maintenance free' and being able to check and keep the electrolyte level correct all helps long life.

Mike.
