...well not the whole lot actually, more specifically the body-colour impact absorber that sits between the bumper and the body directly beneath the headlights and grille. I don't know if this is part of the main bumper or not as I've not removed them yet. Also need a front left corner light that sits next to the main headlight. Reason being `someone' clipped a bollard and broke aforementioned light and ruptured the impact absorber. Bumper itself, oddly, appears virtually unscathed (it's the earlier generic black/grey rubber one, rather than body-coloured). Oh, and while you're at it, a new front spoiler would be nice (also blue). Any for sale?

Hi Matt
Blue is the worst colour to match for Mk2 XM's as there were 4 different paint colours used. Paint code is marked on the chassis in the engine compartment just behind the nearside headlamp. I have blue front bumpers spare in at least 2 of the colours but would need to check on actual condition. Bumper and underskirt are a one piece moulding. A photo of the damage might help in making sure there are no other damage problems you need to think about as you do not want to pay out for a replacement bumper then find the side supports need rewelding to fit it. Best to have an idea of total cost/work first. Regards XMexc -------------------- An interest in 2.5TD's.

Thanks XMexc.
My mistake....looks like I may get away with replaciong the nose cone only (see pix). If I've located the colour code correctly (large white blcok capitals) then it's EGPCR. Do you have one of those? Matt -------------------- 1994 S2 CT auto petrol hatch blue, 100k

Im going to try and hold out for a blue one if I can, only because I reckon I'll make a pig's ear of respraying a different coloured one> Don't suppose you know if they S1 and S2 nose cones are interchangeable, do you Mr. T?
