Does anybody know if the wastegate is adjustable? Is there a procedure for checking the pressure apart from the dashboard gauge? I have just taken my 2.1 accross the continent and found that with a light load is slows rapidly on hills. At 3000rpm in any gear with full thottle the gauge needle goes to half way and I suspect that either the engine is a little low on powere after a mere 180,000 miles or that the wastegate is worn. I have checked all the ducting for leaks but at tickver i suspect that they would be hard to find.
