Hi Splez
I seem to remember you have a 2.5 exclusive. If so is the drip you are seeing clean water from the aircon drain as the position is about right. It is really noticable as a puddle with both mine at present. I stick a piece of white faced hardboard underneath overnight when I want to identify drips. Aircon, coolant, oil & LHM are easily distinguishable in a little pool as they do not soak into the impermeable face of the board. With regard to your coolant leak did you check out the small front rad as these are much more prone to problems than the main rad and the leak goes onto the subframe and spreads rather than dripping in a pool on the ground under the car. They are not easy to examine without stripping and it is only the regular coolant loss that gives away the problem with them. I can vouch that it is easy to mistake condensation for the a/c compressor for a leak, I I noticed this after my rad was replaced ad was somewhat distressed until I worked it out.

If it IS a 2.5, what are you doing encroaching on the petrol specific place? These smelly diesels get everywhere.
