Hi all

All I've got about 20 4" concrete blocks in the garage, when the time comes (usually weekly) i make 2 lines that step up from 1 to 4 blocks high and lay a scaffold board up each one. Nothing as grand as peters setup but it does give ample room!
Keeps you fit too unsure.gif

the building to the right is a double garage

What are you fiddling around outside with drums and lumber for if you have a large garage where you could install one of those scissor lifts tongue.gif

Funny that, that's what my son keeps telling me! Unfortunatly the roof isn't high enough, at least it would be if I took the joists out but then I think the roof would collapse. I had even thought of installing one out side, but at my time of life?....

Is there a time in life when you no longer take initiatives, make plans and work towards realizing them? Is this timing dictated by a 2-digit figure? The more you begin to think in this direction, the more reason to go against this convention rolleyes.gif

No, this is purely financial, am I going to get enough use from it to warrant the outlay? and its another job....

The financial part I can see, but for the rest it would be another objective, and you might consider sharing the facility with fellow Citroen maniacs biggrin.gif (But don't take my opinions too seriously cool.gif

I am afraid that as you get older, enthusiasm, or maybe the energy to carry out your enthusiasm's wanes somewhat. Dont get me wrong, I'm still moving about, breathing and doing lots of interesting things, at present I have the instrument panel out of my sons (mine really) XM, and have just at the third attempt found out why the fuel gauge doesn't work, I now have to find an alternative 12v feed to pin 8 of the green plug! but my ability to change an engine before tea or work continiously for 18 hours at a time, has left me. I still dream up new ideas but not all of them come to fruition, so I am having to limit the list to those I can reasonably accomplish.

Having said that, anyone in the area with an XM is welcome to come and use what facilities I do have, although there dont semm to be to many in W. Dorset/E. Devon.
