Yeah 1.9n/a diesel, in DTR and TZD form, although I've not seen a 1.9 TZD Estate, yet
The turbo ones are usually badged up as such. As for the octopus. IMHO there are worse jobs on a BX, I Suppose it could be down to the size of your hands. Many people recommend engine removal or at least o/s driveshaft removal. Yes the latter would make things easier, but I've always managed without. -------------------- 92 (J) 2.1TD Est. Usual Green.

Not really, the TZD was more or less a replacement for the DTR.
I had a DTR n/a 1.9d, and also a DTR 1.7td. Citroen changed all the badges about 89. The most noticable difference was, at the same time they started useing torx screws in everything. -------------------- 92 (J) 2.1TD Est. Usual Green.

Im not realy up to speed on Bx issues, i had mine before my fondness for citroens, well it started it actualy.
I think citroen started using the torx type because D.I.Yers wanted more of a challenge when working on their cars, and the extra expense The thing i dont understand is why keep inventing new wierd and wonderful ways of unscrewing a bolt???? -------------------- 92 xm 20i prestige auto (modified)R.P 5678

Hi Dean.
I've always presumed that the move to Torx fasteners and indeed all the splined type was to allow mechanised drive tools to engage the heads more readily; instead of having to line up exactly at 90deg, the drive bit or socket only has to rotate a few degrees if it's out of line. They're certainly a sod though if corrosion gets hold of them. Mike. -------------------- XM 2.5VSX Estate RP 7185
