Hi Marty
My n/s rear door is temperamental. I attributed it to dirt/moisture in connector inside door. Will be tackling this problem hopefully this weekend...I'll keep y'all informed! -------------------- '01 Y C5 Exclusive SE

Hi Marty/Chadders,
The most common cause posted in these here parts is the multiplug door connector. Do you mean rear as in rear doors or as in tailgate? Faulty tailgate locking and a host of other tailgate problems can be caused by failure of one or more of the bundle of wires that go from the tailgate to the body. If you pull the sleeve back you should be able to see the break.

After fiddling with the lock operating button which was loose the left rear is now working, that just leaves the right rear to sort out and the left rear window, the hatch is fine.
