Hi All

Having just had a look at the ad for this XM there are a few odd points that may be of interest. Not exceptionally well looked after as the engine bay has lost the battery cover and the engine top plastic cover. There is an ominous spillage stain around the filler to the header tank. There are no heated seats or leather trim though some owners did specify cloth in their new exclusives. The wood trim around the gear lever and keypad seems to be a different colour (Mk1 type) to that on the ash tray and radio. The does not seem to be any wood trim on the back of the centre console. The alloy wheels are Mk1 V6-24v type and not the monte carlo's that Mk2 exclusives were supplied with. As far as I am aware only VSX's carried the 2.5 markings on the front wings. All Mk2 exclusive's whatever engine type had the exclusive branding on the front wings and never on the tailgate. No doubt a check of the V5 will confirm that this car was built as an exclusive.
