Just wondering is the petrol tank more than 80 litres? I have recently put 82 litres in and was not completely empty.

Hi Hank
I suspect the tank its self takes a fraction over 80 ltrs but there are a number of filler/vent tubes. These are quite long and some are large diameter and I suspect that another 5 to 10 ltrs can be got in there. When these are full fuel spills out under the car. When this happens with petrol the smell/fumes usually get into the car. As a result I now stop filling and the first shut off of the pump. Regards XMexc -------------------- An interest in 2.5TD's.
