Now I know my car will never be a show entry, but I do like a dry engine instead of an old oily block....

Now mine started as an old oily block, now it does not leak oil, so I want to get it looking like the well kept money pit that it is.

I just went out and blasted it with the jet wash, then sprayed it with this cheap engine degreaser, waited half an hour, and jetwashed again, but some areas of the head/block etc still have black marks and look really dull.

Apart from taking it out and ripping it to bits and ramming the block in the dishwasher (when wifes sleeping) any ideas anyone ?

Have a look at "sales@bilthamber.com" There is some interesting stuff there - only trouble is, you are spoilt for choice.

Hi techmanagain,

That's an impressive range of products. Not ridiculously priced either. Have you used any of them?
