I'm in the process of stripping a '95 2.0 CT VSX Estate before the shell gets returned to our local scrap yard. I'll be keeping some of the spares for my own use but if anyone has any particular requests then I'll strip them off and we can come to some arrangement over postage etc.

The engine was already out of the car when I got it.

Cheers

Hi BGB,

I do have the display but I think you need to try your own one first. When the battery has been disconnected and reconnected all the segments of the dispay are lit. Take the inside out of two pens and insert them through the two time adjustment holes. The switches are quite far down so you'll need long probes to reach them. Pushing them both together resets the clock and it starts to behave normally.

Give that a try. If it doesn't work drop me a line and we'll come to some arrangement over the display.

Cheers

Noz

Just a reminder

The estate rear lights are like gold dust, Ive only got a hatch now so I have no need.

Worth hanging on to

Cheers Mark,

There's two perfectly good tail lights left on the car. The tailgate's already been removed.

I'll store them safely.

Cheers

The Mk2 has a different connector on the back of the clock/temp dislay on account of the extra connection for the fuel computer. If the old display is not illuminted the bulbs have probably gone. If they are of the wired in type, lamp holders from a scrap instrument panel will fit. If your outside temperature display is not working it is probably the sensor in the n/s mirror that is faulty, they are about £17:00 from citroen and are the same as used in the C5. To avoid having to remove the mirror and door panel, the wires can be cut and joined, preferably soldered and sleeved.

When i got the car a few weeks ago battery was duff and bulb`s had gone
I did try to reset the clock but for some reason just stayed with all digits on, think it`s down to duff reset switch ????????

Well to day tried it did not work first time around but second time it worked so happy now

I just hate things that dont work all dash bulbs were out when i got it, all working fine now ust have changed 10 of the buggers.

If anyone is stuck for biz`s my mate deals in citroen`s BX`s Xm`s Xantia`s Etc I would be willing to see if he can help out with cheap parts or get hold of them !!!!!

Cheers all back soon biggrin.gif
