That's what years of being brought up with a car mad father and brother does for a smart lass!!
As yet, I haven't found another like her myself either!! biggrin.gif sad.gif

Hehe - my nine yr old daughter has helped me change spheres, oil filters, plugs, wheels, etc...she loves helping and getting her hands dirty. My little helper.

She also loved the club outings with the Mitsubishi club - with some VERY spirited driving along the public highways!

We also play car top trumps all the time so she knows all the figures off by heart.

Am I encouraging a girl-racer? at least she'll be able to hold her own in conversations with spotty yoofs down the pub in a few years time! tongue.gif

More like NOT get ripped off by a con artist garage!

Best example of this was Caz's urgent call out AA rescue when a lower
back block coolant pipe holed quite dramatically (some sh!t happens,
sometimes - the only main call out failure she's had with the XM too).

OK, the high Anti Freeze content water was green(ish) and Mr Cocky, let's
show off how clever I am, AA "appointed" garage man made on it was
LHM and her car was a crappy old Citroen that has leaky pipes...

It was brilliant hearing her account of how she wiped the floor with him
with her knowledge about the Xm and Citroens generally (he didn't stand
a chance - a true lamb to the slaughter) Every critiscm he could think of
was dispatched with ease!! biggrin.gif I'm still proud of her!!

Wirdy, your daughter will be far better suited to looking after herself
than most lads these days too!

Andrew

Andrew, that is priceless! biggrin.gif

Hopefully that guy will think twice before trying the old condescending, all knowing act on a 'stupid woman' next time...

Then again, its maybe just peoples attitudes towards Cits in general. Anything at all wrong with it, and the response is like "Well, ****ing Shitron innit mate... what you expect?" etc etc. Makes me laugh at times smile.gif
