Brilliant! Only one question, how did they get the pistons in without a ring compressor?

If you liked this one then have a learned look through this lot. I use it to demonstrate principles in the physics group - otherwise known as 'them what should know better'

Aha the old Deutz engine vid, very interesting to watch.
Its the current screensaver on my machine at work, in fact. The engine displayed there is a Ford Duratec model AFAIR. If anyone wants the screensaver to download, let me know, its about 40 meg or so. -------------------- '95 XM 2.1TD VSX Hatch: RP 6429. Rare green ;-)

Stuck it up on the webspace, but the URL is a bit long, so have shortened it, hence:
http://tinyurl.com/39waag The file is 40MB or so. Windows only I'm afraid. Its basically just an EXE that plays a slightly higher res version of the video posted by Robin. Theraputic to look at though. -------------------- '95 XM 2.1TD VSX Hatch: RP 6429. Rare green ;-)
