Also it's more useful as an emergency braking system operating on the front wheels.

Had another go at trying to connect the parking brake release cable. Hoping to find Noz to see if I showed him the problem he may see something I haven't. How can I find the oracle?

A visit to Noz saved me from parking brake hell. I've posted our experience in the parking brake, self help file.

Just a couple of wee things left to do before the MOT test. Fingers crossed.
