I'm thoroughly cheesed off with the white pox slowly spreading along my "chrome" trim strips. I've been touching them up (if you'll excuse the expression) with aluminium paint for the past couple of years but not too successful although less obvious than the white.

I'm thinking of painting the whole kit and caboodle the same colour as the side bolsters, in my case black. What do you think?

ps. I understand there are real SS replacements available but expensive and difficult to fit, so I don't want to go down that road.
