I have a J-reg V6-24. It's running, doesn't use oil or water, has had loads of new bits including spheres and aircon condenser, and (nearly) all works.
The bad bits - the clutch is slipping due to oil contamination, the gearbox is noisy (these two are connected) and it failed its MOT on a leaky FDV, split steering rack boot, and a bald tyre. It will also need a couple of patches on the front sills. I hate to see it go, because it's such a good car to drive, but I just can't do anything with it at the moment. Do you know if the CAMS have been "done". Interested, but about 300 miles between us.. D hallworth will tell you... Shame, however, may be in Glasgow 27-30 December visiting David, and planning on going in my 24v if I can get it gassed...
