Looks like someone's been murdered in the passenger footwell
The seller (Malcolm, who owns the garage) comes across as a thoroughly decent fellow in the same mould as many people here: has at least a dozen XMs out back together with multiple CXs, Xantias and so on. Works on them every day. Seems to know his stuff and is very honest in describing his cars. Still not sure about the chrome strip on that red XM though! -------------------- 97 'R' XM 2.0i SX Saloon Auto

I agree,
That's absolutely vile. I wonder if it was fitted by Citroen or later by an owner. John -------------------- Currently XMless

Not sure what is going on with the footwell and the seat looks a bit faded.
Buy it though! Keep it very safe and in good condition, in years to come they might increase in value. Awsome cars the Activa, if it wasnt for the 2.0Ts need for constant fueling and the very expensive hydraulic parts if things get leaky, then i would have one as my daily transport. One of my all time favorite cars Id be very tempted to buy another if one comes up i like. The activa is very complicated, and needs fine fettling if its going to be running at its best. It always annoys me when i see older citroens driving badly. Ie bouncing down the road, it gives Citroens a bad name and you dont experience what a true Citroen is like. So it always pays to get them fully checked out, and on thw Activa there is a lot to check for! I notice there is a silver activa on ebay, looks tidy although with such lings as a Dump Valve, K&N Air Filter and Racing Plugs fitted id bet its possibly not one of the better examples. That 2.5 dtr Cx looks tempting although the body is well knocked.
