Operating range on trip computer

Hello XM lovers,

I would like to ask for get working the operating range on trip computer for XMs Y4.

I have the XM 99' Berline with 2,1TD P8C Lucas EPIC. The trip computer I added later. But I don't know how to operating range. Other functions are working, but operating range nothing. I would't like buy different float and dashboard. It to make it work differently? I made (with a coleagues on Czech Citroen and Peugeot forums) a OEM cruise control without vacuum pump, and some other items, but with this not. Thank you for your tips.

The performance computer in XM series II

At start, the display shows "time" (12 hours am or PM) and "temperature" (degrees Celsius with 1 digit),

When change is activated, the “temperature” is exchanged for performance values:
1>> kilometers to empty fuel / three digits maximum value "999" km
2>> present consumption per 100 km (consumption at the moment)
3>> average consumption per 100 km (consumption since last fill up)
4>> average speed

After "4" the display goes back to start "time" and "temperature"

On my 2.1 TD the change between different states are done with a switch on the end on the wiper control.

The average consumption shows 7.1 - 7.2, easy going 2.1 TD automatic
