Yesterday (Sunday) I was taking swmbo out and jumped in the car about mid day ish. Ignition on, punch code, turn key................oh dear! The battery sounded very low and the starter though not struggling, sounded laboured. When it fired it sounded like it was running on one or two cylinders and quickly died. After 6 or 7 goes of the same it struggled into life and once warm ran all day no probs. The temperature was 3deg. Yet it had been starting all week at about zero with no trouble.

Leaving the house for work this morning it was -4 centigrade and I was wondering how it would be. The car was covered with a heavy frost. I jumped in, went through the routine and it fired like a good 'un. I haven't got a clue what the problem was.
